Hey thanks Pat, that's why I use iMovie the way I do. I like the transitions quite a bit. Thanks for the feedback.

That's pretty cool. I think my inclination would have been to do the intro and that outro in iMovie, export them, and pull them into ScreenFlow. But, the way you did it is nice, too. The way you did it would allow any of the iMovie transitions between the intro and the main body. That's cool.

Ah... I see now, buried four clicks deep, that you can include video from a webcam, too. It seems to only let you do picture-in-picture or side-by-side though. Wheee...

I just saw a Windows Screen Recording package. Its license is three times the cost of ScreenFlow. I spent some time sifting through that package's site trying to figure out what it does to be worth that price. I'm not seeing it. It has richer audio editing capabilities, let's you put in Flash surveys, and subtitles. But, it doesn't seem to let you import video or tilt things or any of the nice polishing things like shadows and reflections that ScreenFlow does dreamily. Maybe they are just inept at showing off their product (actually, the definitely are... since I can't view a feature list... I can only view what things have changed since my choice of older versions of their program).

Thank you for taking the time to post this review. I battled with Screenflow for awhile myself (I do screen cast for my video blog) and found that after I exported the movie I was easily able to import it into iMovie and make a nice polished presentation for my blog. If you would like to take a look at what it looks like after importing it into iMovie, I have a example for you:

Thanks Again
