		<description>For those interested in the nitty-gritty, the phase here goes from zero for minus 180 degrees up to 256 for plus 180 degrees.   (Of course, the 256 gets wrapped around back to 0, but I didn&#039;t want to bother you with the details of 255/256.)  If the phase is $$p$$ degrees, then the output value is $$\left[ \frac{128p}{180} + 128 \right] \pmod{256}$$.</description>
